Ads By Crest exists because I got burned by a marketing agency — and decided contractors deserved better than that.

I'll keep this honest, because honesty is the whole reason this company exists.

Before Ads By Crest, I hired a marketing agency to help grow a contracting business. They talked a great game, charged a premium, and locked me into a contract. Months later I had a pretty dashboard, a pile of invoices, and almost nothing to show for it. No real ranking improvement. No meaningful jump in calls. And every time I asked a direct question, I got a vague, jargon-filled non-answer.

That experience stuck with me. I realized two things: most contractors get treated exactly the same way, and most of what these agencies do isn't actually that complicated — they just count on you not understanding it.

So I learned how it all really works — websites, local SEO, Google Ads, Google Business Profiles — and I started building it the way it should have been built for me: transparent, results-focused, and explained in plain English.
